The settling velocity of the mineral particles is not only related to particle size, but also influenced by the density and shape of the mineral particles.

     Accordingly, there are smaller particle size and greater density materials existing in the same level, but also the larger particles of small size and large density. The greater the difference in density of the mineral particles, the particle size difference is more obvious in the same level.

     So in the production, we make hydraulic classification for the mixed materials with different particle size and density. In the classification process, each product often occurs coarse materials in fine materials and fine materials in coarse materials.The reason is that the grading operation is not a geometric particle size but hydraulic granularity material separation.
